Introduction of Overseas Education College
Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University (FAFU), established and maintained by Fujian Educational Committee, has a long history with 67 years. The campus borders on the bank of the Minjiang River and the Wulongjiang River in the west of Fuzhou, the capital of Fujian Province. FAFU covers an area of 265 hectares in the picturesque surroundings, there trees flourishing, hills and rivers around. After years of efforts, FAFU has grown into a comprehensive university in which is oriented by modern agriculture with agriculture, engineering, economics, management, liberal arts and law developing harmoniously.
FAFU is authorized to recruit overseas Chinese, compatriots of Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao, as well as foreign students. The Overseas Education College of FAFU has enrolled students from Japan, Malaysia, Australia, Philippines and Taiwan. It offers programs for Refresher Training of Chinese and other general courses, and for cultivation of Undergraduates, Graduates and Doctors. 4. $3200 (for Doctor¡¯s Degree and for Senior Advanced Students)
Accommodation
Five US dollars (double room) one person per day, and nine US dollars one person per day (single ¨Croom), all the rooms are provided with modern facilities such as telephone, color TV set, air conditioner, water-heater, etc. The campus, with all necessary physical facilities and playgrounds where you can play basketball, volleyball, football, table tennis and tennis, also provides post offices, shops, laundries, banks, hospital, as well as dining halls where Chinese food, fast food and typical local dishes are available. The personal expenses for meals is approximately 60 US dollars per month, about US$ 2 each day for one who takes his food at the college¡¯s canteen.
